Anchorage bound

Happy Birthday Daddy! It is Darren's 37th Birthday and we are off to Anchorage. It is my and the kids first time going.

We were ready for a stretch after about 5 hours of driving, we stopped at a nice pull out with with a beautiful view of the mountains and glacier in the distance.

Debbie joined us on the trip, we found a little trail to explore and let the kids run around for a bit.

We look a little wind blown.

We spent 2 nights in Anchorage, Debbie had us booked through "cheapohotels.com" and let me tell you never again! This company is a scam. There was no reservation made for us. we arrived early enough thinking we would have a nice Birthday dinner and relaxing evening but instead didn't end up getting checked in until about 2 hours later. Ended up going to Gwennies up the road for dinner, it was good.
