Ballet Preschool

Juliette started ballet in the fall, and she was a snowflake in Cinderella's ball.
They were so cute up on the big stage in the civic centre.
Juliette is raising her arm to the crowds applause. Oma was with me in the front row videoing.
This is a picture of my mom (Oma) after one of her performances. She studies the Shaketi method ballet for about 12 years.

Othello Tunnels

Dad drove us home to Merritt, and on the way we stopped near Hope to visit the Othello tunnels. These are a series of about 7 tunnels that were once used for trains. They are really neat but a little creepy to go alone with the kids, glad Grandpa was with us.
We had to keep close watch on Virgil he liked all of the bridges in between connecting the tunnels.
And it was a long ways down.
Some of the tunnels were quite long and dark with water dripping in them. Others were short and pretty light.

Virgil's 2nd Birthday

We returned to the lower mainland just in time for Virgils Birthday. We had a nice little gathering at Auntie Mel's and Uncle Dave's. The kids were thrilled to see the boys. They said he has Hockey hair!

The October Birthday gang!! We all celebrated our Birthdays while we were together.
Virgil was excited about the Disney storybooks. He loves books. Sometimes when the house gets really quiet and I wonder what he is up to, I will find him in the bedroom looking at the pictures in books all by himself. Hope that keeps up for when he is in school!
Lego was also a big hit.... with everyone!
Justin was showing off his talent with his Band instrument, the Tuba. Apparently he picked it because it was too big to bring home for practicing everyday. smart boy.
Virgil thought he heard him playing Happy Birthday!
