we went downtown to meet up with Yvonne, Donny and their son Thomas. we walked a couple of blocks to the park where the torch ceremony was set up. There were alot of fun things for the kids, including holding an Olympic torch! Everything was free .

Juliette was thrilled to see Quatchi and Miga as they made a quick appearance.
There were easily a few hundred people standing around the stage. The torch came through the crowd down the middle to light the cauldron. It was neat to see.
The crowd started thinning out pretty quick after the ceremony, It was a cold night. We were able to move up to the front for Aaron Pritchett's little concert and a picture with the flame.
Juliette gazed into the sky half asleep to watch the night end with fireworks. She caught a second wind when we got home and saw her mascots and all her new goodies.
